About the event

Overview

The Career Management Committee presents a workshop that ALL finance professionals can benefit from. Do you work late and walk alone at night? Travel alone? In this workshop a professional self-defense instructor will teach tactics and techniques that can help you for situations when you may feel in danger. From random wrist grabs, to an unwanted hold or knife assault at the bank machine….this KravMaga self defense workshop is geared to the executive life. No experience necessary, only a willingness to participate and get real hands on experience with techniques that work. Bring your running shoes and comfortable clothing, however these techniques will work no matter what your attire.

Speaker Bio

Christopher Gagne
Lead Instructor
International Krav Maga Federation(IKMF), Toronto

Christopher Gagné has been studying Krav Maga for more than 8 years, receiving instruction from the world's foremost experts from the International Krav Maga Federation(IKMF) including Avi Moyal, Haim Sasson and Amnon Darsa. Christopher is certified to teach Civilian and Law Enforcement Krav Maga. 

Christopher's martial arts background includes Karate, Kuk Sool Wan, and boxing. Teaching is a passion for Christopher who has also taught history, writing groups, and various employment workshops. His self defense classes are interactive and focus on providing you with the skills to survive real life violent assaults.
